You gotta understand that she's still a puppy, and puppies do bad things, it's just the way it is. I don't know what she did to make your dad think that, but he's gotta understand that puppies do these kinds of things, and you need lots, and lots of patience and you gotta work with the dog to have it stop whatever it's doing.
My dad thought the same thing about Jake, but we worked with him, and he ended up being the best dog when he got older.
So all you need is a little time and patience.

I do that though...But when I'm sick or hurt and I have to clean up messes or take her for a walk, I can't. Then my dad says I neglect her. After a few minutes, he talks about giving her away. I can't help being sick! And I think he mainly does it because PJ died and we were all almost parilized and traumatized (sp?). And Summer has ran into the road before. He just doesn't want that to happen again. And he doesn't like dogs too much either. It's like the Behtoven (sp again) movie, but with a dauchshund. =/
