-number two pencil, F pencil, and a charcoal pencil
-Sketch paper
Step 1: Draw a large circle on the sketch paper with a number two pencil.
Step 2:
You have to also draw 2 triangles on top of the circle, representing the two ears. The ear on the right has to be bigger than the ear on the left. With, once again, a number 2 pencil.
Step 3:
After drawing the circle and the triangles, draw a rectangle going upward from where the mouth would be and make the rectangle larger as it goes along with a number 2 pencil. When the lines for the muzzle are approximately 5 or 6 inches, you can stop.
Step 4: Add onto the muzzle. For this, you need to extend the muzzle and make it curve like a penny would. You should only make the extra line you added about 2 inches, then you add the curve with the number 2 pencil.
Step 5:
Draw the eye with a number 2 pencil. A wolfs eye naturally starts out small with the upper part and the bottom part meeting up, gets bigger as it goes along, and the upper part and the lower part of the eye meet up again. Make the eye a bit slanted down.
Step 6:
Now you need to draw the eye on the left side with a number 2 pencil. Make a half-circle against the slant you added onto the muzzle. It should be approximately the size of the tip of your pinky finger.
Step 7:
Now you will need to form the nose with once again a number 2 pencil. Draw a half circle for starters. Then draw 2 curved lines not too far apart from each other. After you draw those lines, draw as what you would see on the moon, an old crescent, under the curved lines.
Step 8:
On the rectangle you drew for the muzzle, draw a small curved line next to the left side of the oval starting at the top part of the nose. Then, you begin making that line longer and curving it upward a little to represent the top part of the muzzle. Stop drawing the top part of the muzzle when you see that it is at about the same area where the curve starts.
Step 9:
Begin curving where you left off on the top part of the muzzle. Go all the way to the end of the top part of the muzzle, but leave 1 inch or less of space.
Step 10:
Where the nose starts, draw a line. Make the line about hale the size of your pinky finger. Then, go to the upper part of the wolfs head and do the same thing, only curved this time.
Step 11: Detail the left side of the wolfs face. Draw a slightly curved line and begin doing small zig-zags. Do this for the other side of the wolfs head also. Draw zig-zag lines.
Step 12: Now we should detail the eyes. Draw a pupil in the eye, and take your charcoal pencil and use it to color around the pupil on the right eye. Also, with a number 2 pencil, draw a small line after the eye. On the left eye, all we need to do is outline the eye, and draw a small pupil.
Step 13:
Detail the ears now. The ears mainly use charcoal to detail. Draw a round circle looking shape with the charcoal in the right ear. Then, take an F pencil, and draw curvy lines inside the ear. Do the same with the left ear.
Step 14:
Draw lines under the wolfs jaw with an F pencil. After that, take your shading stump and rub it. Do the same for upper part of the jaw, and under the nose.
Step 15:
Rub the pencil inside the ears with the shading stump.
Step 16:
Draw light lines on the wolfs face with an F pencil, anywhere on the wolf. Then, shade the lines with the shading stump.
Step 17:
Charcoal the space you left between the top of the jaw and lower jaw. Also, charcoal some of the ear.
Step 18:
Erase a light amount of charcoal in the pupil to make a sort of glow in the right eye.
Step 19: Erase anything thats an extra in the drawing such as extra parts of the triangle or rectangle. Then, youre done!
No pics used considering it was 19 steps long.. I dunno if anyone's gonna rly use this but.. reviews?
Awesome tut! I might try it, but my hand is all bruised because I slipped on some rocks by the river. XD I might try it next week, though\. =P (Me=clumsy.)
EDIT: Meh...I'll try my best today. I've really been in a drawing mood anywho.

All you need to do is reduce the size of the bottom jaw, and add a little more 'puff' to the fur around the back neck. but otherwise, very nice indeed job and tanks all :O
