I really enjoy photography, capturing the simple every-day things is just really fun to me, and I really want to just do my best. I appreciate any critique you'll take the time to give me, because I'm always looking to improve.
I use a Sony Alpha A100 with my two lenses, a 18-70mm (3.5-5.6 f-stop) and a 70-300mm (4.5-5.6 f-stop). I really enjoy my SLR, and it's a fantastic camera. If you have any other questions, just post them. I'll be glad to answer.
I have a version without the annoying light to the right, apparently I uploaded the wrong one.
ahh, that golden dusk hour.
City Hall in the background.
Four shot pan. Taken from the Battleship NJ.
Seven shot pan, if you look down t the bottom right you can see the barn silo. That's how big the clouds were.
Switchfoot at Revelation Generation
Hawk Mountain. Hoping to get up there this weekend, the foliage has got to be gorgeous. Plus I love a good hike. :D
Red-Tailed Hawk for those non-birders. :P

All of those are mine. I also got seven firsts, six seconds, one third and one fourth. Which is pretty good, considering this was all-county. I compete in another fair next week, only against adults.

No editing on that one, just to state what is basically a fact for my pictures. xD Three people asked me if it was edited. The top layer is actually clouds, not mountains.
First lightning catch of the year.
30 second exposure of a train going by.
Got to go up in a helicopter, it was pretty cool. Great day for it too.
my personal favorite
That's town, to the back is where I live. I wish I could have gotten a fuller angle, because there's nothing for miles around except farms after that. xD
That's the fire inside of the engine. The engineer asked me if I wanted to come up, I was pretty thrilled. :3
Left side, which is the engineer's spot.

You are very great a photography! I'm very impressed! ^_^ The picture on the railroads, with the steam engine, do you know why they don't have steam engines anymore, becides speed matter? Well infact, the shape of the steam engine front caught up to much air in the front of the train, which always caused it to go slower.
