Iwn: wow, i never knew that!!! our cat used to eat out of princess's bowl all the time, and he lived to be 8 (would've lived longer, but the neighbors hunting dog got him....rip :( ). But that's wierd, I'll have to remember that one.

I think it's only if they eat a lot of it at one time. XD

sorry for not believeing you IWN...
Guess what happened yesterday.
We went to feed him his new cat food and everytime he went to swallow,he puked it back up again....
But hes fine now but we asked the vet and he said that the dog food scraped his insides.....

It's because you fed him dog food for two weeks, why would you do that, anyway?
There's such thing as cat food, you know.

I mean I don't mean to sound rude, but it's common sense not to feed your cat dog food. o_O
Why do you think there's dog food and cat food?

because we had no cat food and it wasn't really two weeks I was going over bored it was like 7 days one week.
And my mom kept on forgetting to get food for him when she went to the store and I finally bought him some yesterday.
I'm just glad he didn't die.

When we're running low on cat food I tell my mom and she goes out and gets more.
Never do we feed my cat dog food. o_O..

And thats not surprising that the dog food would hurt his stomache. Just like when Huskys and or Malamutes are on a sled run for many many days, you're not supposed to feed them dry food or it'll scrape their insides. Just hope you learned a lesson from all this ;)
