:o Okay so nickie told me to make a tut for drawing anime-styple heads so I making on lol. :B
I usually draw them on gimp but you can do it on paint or hand draw it. :P I have no idea why I draw like this. I just do. XD I don't ever watch anime so no clue why i do this lolo
Now let me tell you, I usually only draw girls cause I cant draw guys worth a shoe so bare with me here. XDDD Now, let us begin! :o First (if using gimp) I make it 800x600. :P and Id suggest a size 7 round brush. Mkay now to the drawing
Okay, draw a sort of dome for the top of her head. Now you add the length of her hair (you can make is short of long. Doesnt matter. For mine, Im making it long. :B) and her bangs and the piece of hair above her ear. (I suck at bangs so bare with me. XD) Now we add her face. From the end of her bangs, make a strait line down and after a little line ( :B) you make it go out a little. (Youll see it in the ex. XD) The draw a slanted line going down and after that, draw another slanted line up near the area where her ear will be. (dont make her chin too pointed XD) the as you get near the piece of hair over her ear, make the little curve for the bottom of her ear. Then add her neck. Dont make it too narrow. :P Then add the rest of the length of her hair. (how ever long you want it lolo.)
Fun time! :D We get to add her face!! :)
Okay, near the top of her face, draw a ( but facing down on the left and right of her face. The not to far below it, draw another ( but smaller and going up. (youll see in da picky :B) once you do that, draw two ( ) to connect them. Now you have empty eyes! :D XD Now draw a little line below the middle of her face. Dat her noez onoz!!!!! XD Now draw a smile at the bottom of her face (not to curvy cuz u dun want her to lewk stooped lolo) the a little like across from it. (:o) now u got smiley, nozy, empty eye grl omgz!!!11!!!1!!! Now you have the basics done! :D TIME TO COLOR WOO Now u color how u want kk? Ill show you mine. :B but don't color her eyes just yet mkay? And once you get done coloring, its best to go ahead and go over the outline again in black so it doesnt look all messy. :P

K so now that Miss Empty Eyes is colored we can color her eyes. :D What you do is fill it with whatever color you want the eye to me. For example, Im making it green. :B Once you do that, make a lighter shade of the color you put in the eye and draw an outline if the left side of it. Then add a little white dot near the top. AHHH EYES AHHHHHHHHHHHH
Now its time to shade! If you dont want to thats fine but imo, shading makes it look better. :P Once again, I shall show you mine as an example of what you can do. *Remember, if you are shading, make sure once youre done doing it, go over the outline with black again so its not all messy* Now we add some of the details like the eyebrows and lower lip and everything. So you can make her eyebrows however you wont and the lower lip, just draw a little line under her mouth like this: And now you are done! :D Woo partah Hopefully thisll work.
