I hate how Disney and other companies change star's voices to sound "right" and stuff. I like Disney and the other dudes, but that is just not cool. Some stars just plain stink, like Vanessa Hudgens. She sounds horrible live, it makes me sad because I really liked her. Other stars are actually very good.

I'm not sure what it is I hate about it: how some stars aren't given the chance to actually sing or how stupid it is that the suckish ones pretend to be good. Both reasons make perfect sense and it makes me plain sick.

I have been searching mostly disney stars on youtube (regis and kelly shows are a good source) and here are my ranks, from best to worst.
1. Jesse McCartney. DEFINETLY the best live singer. Almost ever.
2. Hannah Montana. No joke. I swear, she's actually pretty good live. (I'm surprised I could even FIND one of her live...)
3. Probably Ashley Tisdale. She and Hannah were pretty much tied for second.
4. Because I haven't listened to too many yet, Vanessa Hudgens is the worst. She gets squeaky on high notes, and the responses always say "Oh, she had a cold..." but she can't have a cold for every time she preforms, COME ON. It's mostly when she sings "Come Back To Me", but the other ones aren't so hawt either, but definetly better.

I hate it. I used to LOVE Vanessa, she was practically my idol. But after that "incident" with those pictures and this whole suckish singing thing (plus her personality is kind of prep sometimes) I'm not so sure.

Another suckish singer i found:
- Chris Daughtry, but only when he sings "Home" live. Search it. GAWSH! XD

Anyways, just wanted to say. Thoughts?

If you've ever used voice chat with your friends online you'd know that microphones really screw up your voice. My voice sounds fine in real life but over mic I notice that it's very slow and it sounds squeaky and nerdy... Nerds don't like to sound nerdy.


That could be all it is. I don't see why you don't like people because of their voices though.

No one sounds very good live, actually. I heard Akon live on TV once and he SUCKED.

And yes, Diney probably does tweak star's voices a bit.

It makes me sick too. Now some can really sing like they do when their CD comes out, like Miranda Lambert. The worst though is Taylor Swift. She can't sing when her CD comes out nor can she sing live. She too gets squeaky and- oh, she is so annoying!

My friend, a very good microphone will make your voice sound near what it would in real.

I didn't know that about mics. I'll look into it, fanks. :)

I do like them still, just I hate how some pretend to be perfect and they think they sing sooo perfectly and they stink. But its usually just because I'm kinda dissapointed. I mean, I knew they tweaked their voices but I didn't know how much, or what they started as. :( Sorry, worded it awkwardky. ;)

@ Veoria: Yes but I'm not going to pay hundreds of dollars for a big mic just so pople can hear my voice correctly. I don't really say anything to anyone through the mic anyway. Thanks though.

Mics and phones make my voice sound different XD
I hate answering the home phone because I sound so different on the phone. Dude...on the phone i sound JUST LIKE my mom o.O

"her....daughter..."
"OHMAHGAWSH U SOUND JUST LIEK UR MAWM"
