Yes.
..although they DO see some shades of color..I think.
But if I remember correctly, I got flamed for that on the old NKC so I won't go there.

My mom claims that dogs can only see blue and yellow and the rest is black & white.

I read or watched that we (humans) have tri-eyes (NOT RIGHT. Something like that) and animals have bi-eyes.
They see less colors. Something like that. :P

Dogs can only see very low opacity versions of few colors.
