Whenever I do something on MSN I get disconnected; If someone IM's me, or I IM them, it happens. I tried downloaded MSN 7.5 (older version) but that didn't work, it told me I needed to upgrade to the latest version. I did that (it's the same MSN I had earlier, maybe installing would help...) and it still made no difference.

Any suggestions? I doubt any of my friends care enough to switch to Skype or something so I'm not gonna try that. This started about 3 days ago; I'm stumped.

The latest version, is 8.5. Is that what you have?

Yes. I had a different version before I reformatted this computer, then I had to download the latest (8.5) version which worked fine at first. Now it does this; I then downloaded a older 7.5 version but it won't work, makes me upgrade to 8.5 >:[

 BGCD and I already have it.

But..if you don't want to, then I suggest going to Add or Remove programs and hit "Change", I believe that will allow you to repair what's wrong.

Wut?

Trillian is a multi-client IM thing. You can still talk to people on MSN.

And since WLM doesn't support Win2k, I use Pidgin (wiki it).

Trillian is a multi-client IM thing. You can still talk to people on MSN.

And since WLM doesn't support Win2k, I use Pidgin (wiki it).
