I got an 8GB iPod nano yesterday and I it! Buuut I wanna download videos. I'm downloading a Spongebob episode from iTunes at $1.99 right now, but I wanna download videos from the DVD. [Like, rip it from the DVD, pass it to My Videos, then do whatever I need to do to pass it to my iPod.]
Do I need a specific program to do so?
Thanks in advance!

just came by to say goodbye. Leaving this place for good. Psycho sucks. Bye.
And, can I erase the music I don't want anymore on MY COMPUTER, and it won't delete it from my iPod if it isn't conected? like if I erase them from my computer but I don't want them to be deleted from my iPod, will it be deleted from the iPod when I erase the music from my computer? jw.
Because if you leave too much music on my computer it will slow down and freeze. D:

Welcome! Glad to help. :DD
And yes, that won't affect the iPod at all. Because I have music on it from my laptop, and not on my other computer, and it doesn't do anything.
I asked that because yesterday, I had like 30 songs alredy. I disconnected the iPod, deleted them, and connected it again, and when I looked at the iPod it was empty again. o.0

Yes, and you'll also need a DVD-RAM Drive installed into your computer, so it can read and run/play DVDs.
I don't know of any specific ripper, in fact, I'd like to have a download link as well. I have a few movies/episodes I'd like on my iPod.
@ The other problem:
Correction, it does affect the iPod. Because...well.
You add music through files on the computer. You delete those files. It can no longer be added.
It's like cutting off a phone line.
So, yes. It affects it. It also says it can't find the files if you move the file from the location when you originally added. For example, you dragged and dropped from the Desktop. Synced the iPod and left.
Later, you come back, move the file to a specific folder in My Documents and open iTunes and sync. It will say it cannot be found. Just drag and drop from the new location and you're good to go.
And, remember, ALWAYS "Eject" the iPod from iTunes before ejecting it from the USB port. That can damage the iPod pretty bad.

Ahh my bad. But I've deleted songs off iTunes before and they still stayed on my iPod. I didn't think it affected it since what's on the iPod stays. Maybe I'm wrong. D:

Deleting them off of ITUNES won't affect it. Because it'll just ask you if you wanna transfer 'em back to iTunes library.
But I was talking about deleting them from the hard drive completely.
