Assassin's Creed Review

Rated M for: Blood and Gore, Violence, Strong Language (Just a 'lil warning: The following screenshots will contain blood. Proceed at own caution. I will not be held responsible for your reactions.)

This, my friends, has to be one of the best games I've ever played in my life. It is a really good game. The story is too confusing to post (heck, I beat it start-to-finish and I don't understand it.) so I'll skip that. However, I can explain a little bit.

The game has 2 plots. The "main" plot takes place in 2012, the secondary plot takes place in A.D. 1191 during the Great Crusade, where you take control of an assassin named Altair, set to protect the Holy Land.

Ahead you'll see my opinion and a few screenshots.

Gameplay:

No need to write a paragraph for this. The gameplay is amazing, but a tad bit repetitive. You use 4 things to fight:

Your fists
Hidden blade
Dagger / Throwing knifes
Blade (Sword)

I normally use my dagger to fight, personally. Everyone else uses swords, and a few archers will be hurling arrows at you. There are also a few "sidequests" you'll be doing.  Collecting flags, killing "Templars", climbing really high view points, and saving citizens. Fun, fun.

Though, THROUGHOUT the game, you're supposed to assassinate 9 people. Think of them as.."bosses".

9.8/10

Graphics:

Graphics are pretty good. I normally don't worry about graphics, but these are pretty good. It can be a bit unrealistic at times, like after you've slashed someone up they don't bleed. There's plenty of blood in battles, but...yeah.

9.3/10

Music:

I really enjoyed the music for this game. Calm, but in intense battles or when you're trying to escape from an assassination, it gets tense and really catchy. Hard to explain. You'd have to play to find out.

9.8/10

Artificial Intelligence:

Well, I'd say at times it can be good. Once you're in a battle with like 10 guards, you wipe out like 8, the remaining 2 will go running and screaming. In each city you visit, there will be citizens everywhere, like it was (I guess) back in those days. Women and some men carrying pots, thousands of people walking around. And everytime you start a battle, they will go running. If you throw a guard off of a building, they will scream and stuff. Guards are easily alerted.

Overall:

10/10. =D

Screenshots:

your typical battle.

good night, sweet prince.
