This weekend I ish getting a new MacBook! I'm really excited. I've been waiting a looong time... Kinda. It's good to finally be able to get rid of this icky Acer.
ANYWAYS What kind of computer do you have? And if you could get any computer, what would it be? O:
Yeah I hate Vista too. I've had it twice, and I'm done with it. And it gets this thing thats like a blue screen with white lettering and you can't get on your computer. So you need to do a system restore. YAY MACS! :D haha
I have and Acer, with Vista. Its okay I guess, it goes boom and freezes a bit, but other than that its fine. My OLD computer, ugh I HATED it, poop > windows 98. Seriouisly, at one point, it would crash about 8 times a day. It drove me NUTS.
But I also have a VERY old laptop, which I never use, no internet, mouse doesnt work well, it is a windows 95. I'm not even sure if it will turn on anymore....olol.

Cool. I'm still debating between a Mac mini or a MacBook. :O
If you want to be all nerdy like me, I'd wait on a MacBook. The 45nm chips from Intel should be out by the first half of this year, so it could possibly get them by May (the usual spring refresh) or November (the usual fall update).
The 45nm chips should be more efficient, faster, and of course, smaller than the current 65nm chips. And plus, it should save power by turning off one of the cores when it's not needed.

Ya.
A shrink-down in the processor only happens once every 2 or 3 years, so I personally think it's worth the wait.
