Yes, because somewhere, some little brat is going to laugh their heads of at the kitten. And animals dying at all, especially as babies, is pretty sad.

I've yet to see any laughing, just people saying how weird it is.
And someone will laugh at everything - especially on youtube.

I doubt it died. Me and my mom found a kitten in the bushes and its mom wasn't around so it would have died, but we gave it some bottled warm milk ourselves and put it back and it lived.
