First Challenge!!!

You are just beginning Writer's Challenge. To get to know youand your writing, you will have to make a short story. For full details, keep reading!

    For this challenge, you will write a short write! It can be about any animal, or, if you're up for it, choose a book or a book from a series below:

   1. Warriors Original Series
2. Chronicles of Narnia
3. Or suggest any other book! I have to approve it to make sure the guest judge(s) have read it.

If you choose a book, then the topic of your story will be "If_________________..." fill in the blank with something that happened, and tell what would have happened if it didnt, or what would've happened. confusing? For example, if I choose Narnia, I could pick a topic like, "What if Peter found the wardrobe before Lucy?" or "What if Mr. Tumnus never met Lucy?" These are "What if?" stories.

    Here's what to do, step by step:
    1. Pick a topic for your short write. If you are doing a "What if?" story, then choose a book, or confirm a book via PM, and pick a topic.
    2. Make a thread in the "Puppy Tales" board, and make a thread with your story's title and who it's by. If you are a group of people under one name, then type the name you're going under as the author.
   Ex. "______Story Title_______ by ______Author______"
    3. Write your story in a post, which should be in one post and a few paragraphs long. If your a group, then work things out through PMs, and then post it in your thread.

   Your shortwrite will be judged on effort, quality, and how well the direction are followed. Remember, this does not have to be a long story, but do not rush it, and make sure it has a proper beginning, middle, and end. Write it how you'd want to read a book. you wouldn't want to read a book with an open ending, would you? :)

This will begin now and end Friday. If you are all really, really trying, but arent ready by then, then I'll extend it, but dont rely on it, so get started! :D

I have a question though. Do we only have to do a "What if?" if we choose a book or doing a "What if" whether we choose a book or not?

This challenge has two options, you can write any animal shortwrite, doesnt have to be a what if, and if you want, you can choose a book or suggest anewbook altogether and make a what if story. ;)
