There's such a thing as being a independant christian, she can believe in ghosts if she wants to. There's NOTHING wrong with it - I know of ALOT of christians that believe, and do it - I don't go to church or anything, but I consider myself a christian and I believe in it.
And investigating the paranormal will NOT bring demons into your house. Who's the crazy person giving you this information? Most Haunted?

There's nothing but theories about "ghosts", there aren't many facts. There's the belief that doing EVP's is the same as using a oujia board (which is very dangerous), and that maks a bit of sense, but there's no proof.

1. Demons are rare.
2. Demons are there for either malicious intent or possession, but they rarely do either of those - because of my above statement.
3. I have NEVER, except in movies, even heard of them coming to your home because of you catching EVP's. Well, okay, I heard it on Paranormal State but lets face it - there's no proof, it's a theory probably made by a bunch of "psychics" over bottles of beer.
4. There are, as I've said, very little facts but it is a fact that investigating the paranormal will not make demons come after you. The worst that can happen is that you go to a place with demonic activity and the demon attaches itself to you, and you need a exorcism.
4a. "Are there any spirits in here... W-W-WOAAAAAH DEMON! BLEEP! BLEEP! *bloodsplatter*GRAHHHHH>____<" doesn't happen.

5. There is only ONE case, ever, of a person being supposedly (I'm skeptical, the story sounds great) killed by a ghost and that is the Bell Witch. And that wasn't what you'd think - supposedly the ghost "witch" replaced someone's medication with poison, he took it and died. People have been knocked down, thrown, slapped, or injured by ghosts before but nothing too serious minus that one story that has never been proven as fact.

I'm going to lock this before it turns into a religious/wtfghosts?pahaidiot debate like every other thread on this subject has. If you want to discuss it further with me or someone else please do so in PM's.

Btw Veoria... Where was this done? Your house? What made you think it was haunted beforehand?
