The red's some leaves that the tree has (they're a really nice shade of red this time of year) and the neighbor's white house. I had to blow out the background since the hummingbird was in the shade so I added +1 exposure compensation. Gave the background a nice, dreamy and bright look though.
thx

I'll post moar later. Also I started resizing/saving in GIMP at 100% quality in jpeg. It keeps the EXIF intact but seems to be less sharp than if you resized in Paint but saved in a png, but oh wells.

"Milestone" is really neat. Great composition, and an interesting use of the props. Love the last one too. I love traffic trails. :3 The ferris wheel & bridge really add the support to catch the eyes.
Oh, and I dunno if I've mentioned it before but I use this EXIF Viewer addon for Firefox. It's a handy learning tool when surfing photo forums to see the settings behind great shots. It's also why I save in jpeg and not png--png doesn't preserve EXIF.

Oh, and for kicks here's the 70-200 on my dad's old film Rebel. Missed focus on the Rebel badge because of recomposing and super-shallow DoF.
