halp ):

I need HALP

Alright.

So I want a better rendering program than Terragen 8.0 - Terragen is considered crap in the "Rendering world". Now, I could be cheapy and go the Terragen 2 way, but Terragen 2 is WAY too confusing because its free. So, I was either thinking getting Vue 6 Infinite (which so far is grabbing my attention @_@) or Mojoworld.

So I'm asking you guys what I should do D:

Vue 6 Infinite: (not my renders, I wish they were O_O XD)

Mojoworld:

V6I is about 600 bucks.. but I have enough money, and you get what you pay for.

Agreed with Lock unless you really wanna invest in that 0-0

I'd go with Mojoworld.
Terragen seems to be the program to get people started in this, but it doesn't compare to retail products; all the textures look like they're from a 2001 videogame or something (NOT URS THO ^_________^ </antiflame>). Probably the next step would be Mojoworld - it's only $70.

From what I've seen it's really comparable to V6I, except the fact you'll save $530. I imagine such a professional program would be extremely advanced; of course it says "EASY AS A MONKEY'S UNCLE!" on the box but that's directed towards people who are upgrading from something like Mojoworld. I was gonna ask for a $600 3D software (which I forgot about already) but figured if I can't even figure out the free programs then that's not going to do me very good; although the realistic-looking explosions it makes being used on the show 24 and cool smoke effects in 300 make it very tempting.

Yeah.. true there. The only difference I really notice as far as seeing the renders is buildings. V6I can also render random shacks and such; which I'll barely be using that at all, if at all.

I think I'm also somewhat underestimating MJW.
