This is at LEAST the 5th dog we've had dropped off here since we moved here. It's so sad.
The 1st one was Buddy a shepherd/beagle mix and we gave him to a friend who rescues dogs.
The 2nd one was Krypto a black lab mix we found a new home for.
The 3rd one was Petey (i miss him ;-;) and we gave him to the animal shelter.
The 4th was Oliver and we gave him to the animal shelter, too.
Now we have this girl. She's so, so pretty.
She's a Husky/Pointer mix (we think).
She has a blue eye and a brown eye, and her facial structure reminds me of a husky, but she has floppy ears, and a pointer body.
She's really afraid of humans, and won't come near us, but will wag her tail, and act like she wants to come when you talk to her. (Buddy was the same way, and I earned his trust, so I'm hoping to do the same with her.)
She's also extremely skinny. We've been feeding her everyday, so hopefully she'll gain some weight.
I really want to keep her, but we probably won't be able to. We're talking to the lady who adopted Buddy to see if she'll take her. If not we'll earn her trust, and find a home for her (if we can't keep her).
Here are the pictures. :) We've been calling her Delilah, but we're thinking of a real name - unless Delilah sticks.
(Just so you know all these pictures were taken through my 2nd floor window, so they suck, and aren't very close.)
She got into the garbage, lawl. It was meat sauce, so it's fine for her to eat, but my dad wasn't too happy. =/ We brought the garbage back inside, and gave her some real food. XD
Her blue eye is actually like half brown half blue, it's so pretty!
You can see how skinny she is right there. =/ Makes me want to cry to see a dog like that...

Aww, she's gorgeous! Hope she gets healthy soon though :(
Yeah, she does somewhat have a pointer body, defidently got the floppy ears down xD But those markings remind me of a beagle. And she has a reeeaally long tail. Who knows, haha.
Maybe you'll get to keep her (:

Aww. The poor thing. :( I know how you feel, I went through the same thing with Zoey. I hope she gets fattened up and that you get to keep her!! And I hope she gains some trust in you. :)
Thanks all. :) I hope we can keep her too, I'm just really not getting my hopes up considering the fact that we already have 3 dogs, and we already have enough trouble keeping them where we live. It would be absolutely amaziiing if we got a house soon enough to be able to keep her. Dude, it'd be a miracle. But yeah, she's so adorable. I sat outside waiting for her to come, but she was off taking a nap somewhere probably cause she didn't come, so I went inside and 20 minutes later i saw her out by holly... >_> XDD But yeah, I keep trying to get her to come to me, hopefully I'll be succesful one of these times. :)
