Dixie, Lucy, & Holly are all finding new homes. As most of you know my dad's a preacher, and we live in the church. Well we can no longer have dogs in the church, and so we have to get rid of them...Holly's leaving tonight.
The only good thing I can say about it is that the lady's wicked nice. She goes to our church and we see her like 3 times a week. She has a really nice house, and a giant fenced yard, and another big dog for her to play with. She'll be really happy... She promised to bring her here to visit, and said we could go visit any time. We deffinately will. We haven't found homes for Dixie or Lucy yet. We've called a bunch of people from our church, and we've called the vet, and we're not going to let them go to someone who doesn't love them, or won't be a good home for them. I'll keep you guys updated. I wish this was a joke, or a false alarm like it has been in the past (never a joke, but i've had plenty of false alarms), but it's not.
I'll be making a video of them, and I'll post it on this thread.
I doubt I'll be back, so if you want to talk, and you don't already have my msn (which is like...no one on here) it's - bluemoonxoxo@hotmail.com.
Over and out.
-Lauren
Edit - Here's the video. I'm going to do a better one soon, hopefully with some video of them playing, holly as a puppy, etc, in it.
Edit 2 - Here's a picture I just got of Holly with her brothers and sisters. :) She looks so happy. :) My dad promised we'd go and see her after Christmas once we get back from Texas.

Thanks, Sara...and yeah, I'm glad about the home Holly's getting. Not sure about Dixie and Lucy though...my dad's getting frustrated with me because I can't think of anyone who will take them, and I won't let anyone we don't know take them...

Oh my goodness... I'm... I don't even know what to say. I'm crying... after reading that.
I wish I could tell you that I understand, but I don't think I could understand how much pain that would send through me. (It's kinda like A Little Bit Longer, isn't it? You don't even know..) That's horrible. I will pray for you every night. That your dogs find great homes with owners who care for them and extend their lives, and for your family. He will help you. I'm sorry to go all Christian, but I just hope you realize that He will always be there for you to lean on.. and if you don't that's fine, but I wish you all the best of luck.
May Dixie, Holly, and Lucy live great lives. Your sig says you'll never forget them, and that's exactly the truth. They were amazing dogs and nothing can replace them. Thank goodness you got to spend that much time with them; it woudl've been much worse to never had had them.
