Well, mostly it has to do with teething, just like babies. You know how babies sometimes like to bite things it their crib? Well, it's the same with puppies. When they're teething their mouth hurts, and chewing on things eases the pain. It's also soothing and calming. It's kind of like they're cleaning their teeth with whatever they're chewing, like a rope toy, or even an old socks.

I can't wait to get my NEW Nintendogs game, since I sold my last one. Too bad it'll take two weeks. -smacks head against wall-
Alrightie, I had a question boggling on my mind, so I'd though I'd bring it here. =P
Are peanuts bad for dogs? I know that they shouldn't be givin to babies, but I don't remember ever reading they were bad for dogs. My Dad asked me the other night if he could give Bo some honey-roasted ones, I said no because I didn't know at the time. I also thought that many things are peanut-butter flavored, oh course that could be jsut flavoring and no actull peanuts. =P Thanks! =]
Actually, peanuts and peanut butter make a nice, healthy snack for dogs. They LOVE the stuff! It's basically like giving them meat. It's like when you put peanut butter in those KONG things. It provides protein and proves to be no danger to them, unless they eat too much. But, if your dog's a little gassy, it may end up to be bad for you. =P But yes, they can have peanuts and peanut butter.

Chihuahuas qualify in the toy group and they are the smallest domestic dog in the world. They have high energy levels, so they need to have daily excersise. They are quite easy to train and they're usually friendly with other pets. Although, they are not THAT friendly towards strangers. They're not very good in the cold, but they handle the heat well. They also don't need too much grooming. They normally live about 14-18 years.
Sorry it took me a while to reply, but thanks for the info. ^_^
