I agree with both of you. Weirdly. But if we do have one they can only have limited powers and should discuss what they think with the whole forum and NGal. Anyway, I do have an idea. A lot of forums have this:

The Hello and Goodbye board. Where you introduce yourself if you're new, or announce that you're leaving the forums.

Sounds good to me. I have never heard of that but I have heard of the Newcomer boards

None of those ideas sound "exciting". And the whole president thing, well I know personally if I was in the running and I didn't win I would feel slightly upset for a day or two. But here's another idea to add on to it:

1) All forum Moderators choose each election's nominees. The nominees must show respect constantly throughout the forums and are capable of being responsible.
2) It's built like a "student council" almost. EVERY nominee gets a position for the time period depending on the number of votes.

I don't know how that would work out or if it even makes sense. But PLEASE do not quote my post say something in it was stupid or pointless or anything.

No, I just get ticked off easily. As you may have noticed.
