Diamond is better, IMO.
The real difference is, like all Pokemon games, is the exclusive Pokemon to each version. I chose Diamond for no specific reason, I just..did.

It's not that hard, but it obviously gets harder and harder as you get into the adventure.

It PWNS, it's an amazing game, BEST Pokemon game out there right now, and the touch screen just makes it even better. It's an amazing game, I love it, although I've liked all the Pokemon games, so it might just be me. xD

But if you liked the previous Pokemon games, you HAVE to pick this one up. =P

If I where you, I'd buy Pearl ^_~ A lot of people picked Diamond, so if you're trying to get all the pokemon, you can find someone who has Diamond easily... =)
