I don't know, seems to vary for different people and different intrests. I'm not into Pokemon at ALL, I find it very stupid IMO, I like AC:WW, there's nothing to "beat" I guess. It just goes on forever and ever. >=D xD
For the pokemon thing, I agree.
As for AC:WW, I find it very boring. It does go on forever, and there's nothing to really accomplish. At least with Nintendogs you can train your dog to be the best. In this game it's just a bunch of too-cute-in-an-annoying-way animals who are moronic and...well, annoying. I gave up on the game some months ago. Too bad too, because everyone who plays it is basically wasting their lives away with no accomplishments in the game whatsoever.
Then again, that's just my opinion. Don't take it just from me. BTW, I'd suggest you don't get mad at me for saying that, because I AM entitled to my own opinion and I DO bite back.

So basically your saying whoever plays this game is wasting their lives? Huh. Well anyone who plays any game is wasting their lives then. What happens after you beat a game? You spend your money on a new. Really you have accomplished nothing except for staring at a screen with pixels on it for countless hours. I play videogames myself so don't take this personally. Video games give you something to do when your bored. Really they just pwn. Not flaming.
Animal Crossing also teaches a site of responsibility. You may house payments, do favors for other animals and so much more. And lots of creative people love this game because you can design your house however you want. Even less creative people(like meh at some points) can gain from this game. But this game isn't for everybody. Thats perfectly fine too. Some people find this game amazing and some could live without it. Some people like pokemon but some couldn't care less.
I guess I've made my point.
But video games do actually sharpen your vision by 20%. It's true. So something good comes out of videogames

I suppose you have a point, but for many video games-unlike this one-they teach you to think or help you gain certain skills, at least in one point in the game. With Animal Crossing yes, you do learn SOME responsibility, but the thing is, is that it's FAR from actually working for something. It's exactly what a game is. Playing. Having fun.

Animal Crossing doesn't teach you to think? That's exactly what it does. Teaches more things than alot of game out there I'll tell ya that much.

I played it more and.....it's...okay I guess.....but not great. =P But everyone does have different opinions. XD For now...I'm sticking with diamond XD
Well, in my opinion, Animal Crossing didn't teach me how to think. It only taught me that it was too easy to earn things on it and there was no accomplishment in it. Not for me, at least, because it was way too easy. I need a challenge. In many games, if I get past a hard obstacle, I feel a sense of pride. In this game I feel nothing at all. In my case, watching television is more rewarding.
But, to each his own, and I refuse to discuss it further.

See, that is where my opioion varies, I think you DO have to get past certain obstacles in the game, getting a bigger house, which can often take weeks, and trying to get good scores, and many othe things. When I finished my house (all items in the collection, and the biggest house!) I felt accomplisment. There is always something else to do in this game! Whether its planting hybirds, trying to get all the golden tools, or filling up your muesam (my current mission. >=D). I always have fun with this game, I've played it almost EVERY. DAY. since I got it on Dec 26, and I don't see putting it down anytime soon.
