thanks! =D and i dont really understand how to do advanced borders. I understand making a new layer and stroking it, but when you said to change it to white and stroke it again, i got lost. =P I dont understand how to change it to white

In the main GIMP window (The window with all the tools) there's 2 squares under the tools, one black and one white - The one on the top is the foreground, the other the background colow. Just double-click the black one and select white, stroke the border again, then switch back to Black (lol rime) and do it again. :P

Eh, if you don't know what it means just consider it a setting. You change the threshold of the Magic Wand tool in the main GIMP window, when that tool is selected. (Press Z)
