How to give your render a Glow[Tutorial]
Hi Today I'll be showing you how to give your render a glow on Gimp. Like this:
Ok. let's start...
1.Once you have put in your render, go to Layers>Duplicate Layer
2. Now go to Dialogs>Layers. A new window should open up.
3. Select the original layer. Like above.
4. Now go to Script-Fu>Alpha to Logo>Glowing Hot. A new window should open up.
5. Change the effect size dependong on how big your render is. The bigger the render, the higher the effect size. Click Ok.
6.Once again, go to Dialogs>Layers. The new window will open up. Select the black layer and delete it by clicking the trash can.
7. Now you can colorize by going to Layers>Colors>Colorize. Mess around with it until you get something you like!
And that's how you do it! In addition to giving it a glow, it also eliminates some of those tricky pixels to remove.
Without Glow^
With Glow^
((Ignore the tag. A typo

Also, I forgot to mention, merge down the layers. It isn't necessary, but if you're making an animation it is.
