Collars Doggie Diary *The Exciting adventures of my Nintendogs and me* 6-27 Today began pretty normal. I turned on my DS and greeted my Nintendogs, Savanah, Zoey, and Max (the rest are in the dog hotel). Zoey and Savanah, the two little Chihuahuas, were yapping and playing around, because theyre best friends. Max, my corgi, got a tad jealous and nipped a little at Savanah. After all, he and Zoe used to be pretty tight before she arrived. I broke up the fight by setting out the water dish, and they all drank it quickly. Then I fed them their kibble, and they devoured that as well. I noticed Savanah was dirty, and Max and Zoey were filthy, so I brought out the shampoo and scrubbed until all shone. Then I decided to take Savanah for a walk. After all, her stamina isnt very high yet and I would like to practice disc some more with her. Shes very hyper, so she isnt going to learn obedience- that includes too much patience and sitting still for her. Disc and agility are better fits for her. After clipping on her green leash, we set off. I drew the route through a few question marks, then into the lonely park, then home. The first question mark was a present! It was a white rubber bone. Not exactly jumping out of your seat exciting, never less its better than tennis balls. Then she went pee and poop (which I had to clean up) and then we arrived at our second surprise. It was Tyrone and his poodle, Buster. Tyrone said Savanah looked like shes do well in obedience trials. What a coincidence- the trials shed do the worst in Tyrone suggested! Right then I knew Tyrone was an idiot and left immediately. Before we got to the park, I accidentally let Savanah eat some trash (I wasnt paying attention; too busy typing!). At the park, I threw a few discs for Savannah to catch. I estimated they were about four pointers, so Im in a good state for a beginners competition, for she almost caught all of them (she jumped too early, thats all). We played with the discs for a long time, but then she got so tired she couldnt take another step, so we left. Next we found another dog- David and his shepherd, Logan. Logan is Maxs best friend, but he had never met Savanah. David rambled on about Logans cute dancing when he plays records and I didnt pay attention much. I let the puppies sniff each other, and they became friends! It was adorable. Then we ran a bit until we were home. I gave Savanah some well-deserved milk when we got home, because she was tuh-ired. Then I put some different accessories on my puppies: the hibiscus flower on Savanah, the rose on Zoey, and the huuuge sombrero on little Max. Then I saved and turned off the game because I was bored of playing. The last sound I heard before I shut it off was my tiny puppies panting heavily, and I sighed at how cute they were.
Pally's Doggy Diary Oddball's Entry 6/29/07
Today was a great day! A girl came to the kennels and began looking at the breeds. Then she kept looking at the Dalmations over and over, but she couldn't seem to like any of them, because she kept looking at different ones. Eventually, she began looking at just me. I didn't notice at first, but I think she saw when the other dogs were leaving me out. I'm good with families, but sometimes I get lonely, so I go to the other Dalmations to play. The problem is, they play with each other, and when I try to go near them, they get mad or ignore me. Well, they did. She adopted me and brought me home. She called me Oddball, after the dog in 102 Dalmations, because of how I'm left out and I don't have spots on my back and tail. She gave me food and water, then we went for a walk. She let me do whatever I want, and didnt make me get up and keep walking when I sat down to rest. I made friends with Chantal's Yorkshire Terrier, Maggie. I was sad to leave her, but I think I'll see her again later, and maybe even make more friends on my next walk! I also found a present, that my owner showed me. It was just laying in the path, and I passed right by it! I got a rubber bone, and I can't wait to play with it! I arrived at a little place with obstacles set up. I guess you can practice for contests there. I didn't, because my owner left. She said something about her being afraid my personality would change because it would be putting her through too much. I wouldn't care, though. I got home, and my owner went to the store and got me a big supply of food and water. She tried to give me some food, but I was full still, so she put it back. Then she gave me water, which I happily drank. I wanted to play with her, but she left, so I rested. I hope she comes back soon!
