1. Draw a peanut shape that's open on da top. 2.Draw the forelock. I just scribbled down three different ones, but you can do whatever you want. 3. Make an eye. Be creative! 4. Make ears. (I hated my eye, so I changed it to an annoyed horsie.) 5. Make a mouth and nostrils. (Again, do whatever you want here. I made a smiling horse, but you can see on the sides an annoyed mouth and a sad mouth, but I'm sure you guys can think of much more!) 6. Make a neck and a mane that matches your forelock.
First we'll make the basic lines to make sure we get the proportions right. Make a circle for the head, an odd ovalish thing for the snout and paw and the ear shape.=P
Now we'll fix up the snout. Draw a diagnal line down for the top part, then a vertical line down from that, then the two curved lines for the mouth, one reaching up over the paw, and the chin. Don't forget the nose!
Now draw in the left side of the face and the eyes like shown. (Or open, if you'd like.)
Using short, quick strokes, draw in the left ear and the elbow. Draw in the other ear, using the same short, quick strokes.
Draw in the lines of the paw, as seen above.
Draw in the claws and the pads on the paws, using those short, quick stokes for the top left of each.
Draw in the inner edge of the right ear.
The following steps are unnessicary if you are going to color it.
Color in the nose and paw, and roughly shade below the nose, the inner edge of the right ear, and by the eyes.
Using you finger or a tissue, blend the shading like on the right.
