   I am sad to say that this is the last issue of The Tail Times. As the creator of the newspaper, I have made this issue one that will be remembered fondly. As the friend to readers of the newspaper, I have made this espcially for them. This issue will have stories, games, contests, and more! Just read for yourself.

  Dog of the Week
 
  Whoever's dog's thread was the last thread with a post when the Issue was made is the dog of the week! An owner can only win one place, so if the owner has more than dog, that are in the top 3, then the owner gets their dogs that were in the top 5 tied, so sometimes there''ll be over 3 dogs that win. Winners will be PMed with a sig a while after the issue comes out.

     1st Place: IWN and her dogs Zoey and Peanut with threads right over each other! Congratulations, IWN, Zoey and Peanut!

Wild Diamonds
A Short Story by Pally

  I ran as fast as I could down the street. They couldn't catch me! I had stolen some steak from a fancy restaurant. I was a youngster with no home or food, and noone would give me a mere crumb of toast. now that I stolen the steak, the reastaraunt's security was chasing after me. I quickly gobbled up the steak as I ran. Even if they put me behind bars, they'd still have to feed me. I still wasn't gonna just let them catch me-not without a fair chase first. 
  The sky was navy blue, and it began to rain. I looked up with my mouth open, desperate for water. Someone jumped on me and pinned me to the ground. It was one of the security men. If I were locked up they'd tried to find someone to take care of me, and I was born on the streets. I grew up on the streets, I was wild. I know it sounds wierd for me to say that, but it was true. I remembered the necklace with a bunch of expensive looking diamonds on it that I found in the dumpster. i always wore it around my neck just in case I absolutely had to buy food. I slipped it off and handed it to the security men. 
   "Well, this should definitely pay for the steak," i heard one of them say.
  They still tried to take me with them, though. I fought them trying to escape, and as I got away I snatched the necklace and threw it back over my neck. I still walk the streets today with that necklace around my neck in case I'll ever need it. I don't think I ever will, though. I met some people who give me food and water, and I know my way around. After all, I'm a wild dog.
