Chapter SIX! Streak nudged Riptide out of her thoughts, it was time. Riptide let out a deep bark, all the pups quickly came to her. Streak licked each one, making sure they were all there, and then they walked he walked out of the camp. The pups knew it was time to move on, all but Kilo, he just sat there, confused. This, the place theyd been for as long as he could remember. Riptide let out another bark, and Kilo quickly scrambled up and followed her. Caleb lead the way to the new site, it was a cozy snug little place, deep in the woods. Hunting would be good there, so the pups could practice theyre hunting skills as needed. The pack followed Caleb, the pups had to run to keep up with the big wolfs large pace, he moved much quicker than theyre little paws could. They were also contunally falling over their own feet, which did not help the situation. Kilee scampered to fall in line next to Streak, she wanted to be just like her father. Streak looked down at her, she was a large pup, only Koda was bigger. She didnt get trampled by her brothers, she held her ground and fought for it, and did a good job at it too. Kilee was the type of pup that believed she could be anything she wanted to be, and wouldnt stop trying just because someone said she wasnt good enough. Streak say all this in her eyes as he looked down into them, deep they were. Her blue eyes were beautiful, even her father admired them. They drew you in, it made you wonder what she was thinking about. Her stride was strong, she was a fine hunter for a wolf of her age, she would grow to be one of the best in the family. Caleb let out a bark of delight as the deer came into view, it lay as they had left it, ready to eat. The pups gathered around and they feasted, a good, long feast. All of the wolves had their fill, then it was time to explore their new campsite, they had no idea what was in store for them. __________________ GO FLYERS GO!
