Guess what guys!?

Good chance I'm going to Savannah/Tybee Island next weekend, and with my good camera, not my stupid one I had to use last time I went!

I'm not sure what we'll do, but prolly some type of tour, and other tourist stuff xD

I want to go to the lighthouses there, and forts, but we aren't sure what my aunt wants to do.

Also! Tonigt (I think...) is daylight savings time, so, sunrises will be earlier!
So now I can take pictures of sunrise before I go to school. YAY!

And thats my update. yay.

I got a new camera (Another? YES!! :D)
Canon Rebel XSI with "5" lenses!
Expensive, but if you bought it all seperatly, it woulda been a heck of alot more!

The "5" lenses wereee:
Tamron 28-80mm F/3.5-5.6
Tamron 75-300mm F/4-5.6
Canon 50mm F/1.8 (My current favorite!! :D)
2x conversion lens
.45x wide angle.


And then it came with a whole buncha other accessories.

Okay, now for picture time!

The first ones are from my new camera, some of the first shots I took with it. So don't expect them to be perfect. most of them suck anyways.

I should be getting my nifty fifty on Tuesday. :O It's too bad there aren't more diaphragm blades... the bokeh isn't very circular.

Oh, well. That's what the $300 50mm f/1.4 is for.

~PL~ also has a D40, as does DL6578 (who rarely comes here anymore but is a very good photographer) and a certain someone (i wont say who cuz Lock will just interrogate her >:( she'll probably reply to this post) says if she gets a SLR she'll get the D40. So, in fact, the Nikon lovers of this forum outnumber the Canon ones, not to mention that, to my observations, you only got the XSI because you saw a REALLY good deal for it! >:( Can't say I wouldn't have either if I was offered that many lenses. I like the Nikon brand more than Canon but they're similar in ALOT of ways, so I probably would've taken that offer too just because it's a big investment with the lenses and everything. But I have no complaints about Nikon at all.

I would have never had an offer like that though because we don't trust eBay. We only shop at Newegg, and sometimes Amazon if necessary (newegg is way better). So I would have never ended up in Canon's hands anyways. >:(
