@Lock: I was phsyically holding down the button. I'm hoping to get a remote soon though. And I think it was open as it could get, since i wanted a high shutter if the bird flew. Around f/5.6 I think..

ah...gators. One thing I do NOT miss about South Florida {Even though you're central/north..} I had one in the lake in my neighborhood. I was like...5? It was 9 feet long. :( I hated Florida :((( It gave me nightmares.... It still does... anyway...Those are flippin fantastic. :D Sorry for the rant.
I lovelovelove the fireworks. And the first Tricolored Heron one. And the several Snowy and Great Egret nests are really neat. :D We don't have any of those up north here. :(
I have another updatee My Northgeorgia trip piccytures. Not a really "big" update, only 58 pictures, though I took over 200 I wouldn't have been able to fit 200 onto my laptop, so i just got my most favorites xD
Spoiler
On the way to Anna Ruby Again on the way to Ana Ruby Anna Ruby Falls Anna Ruby
some small fall things on the way to Anna Ruby
Hiking to the waterfall "Blue Hole Falls" Same hike Some cool tree
Blue Hole Falls Hiking back from Blue Hole Foggy Morning, Parking lot of Brasstown Bald
Before the fog completely cleared at the top of Brasstown Bald And then the fog cleared just enough so that we could see the mountains
One of my favorites Thats fog/ mist in there, not a river.
Yeah, I took alot pictures that sunrise xD It reminds me of a hurricane...Sure can tell I'm from florida, rite? xD
Hiking back from Brasstown Bald purdy pasture Hiking to Helton Creek Falls Helton Creek Lower Falls
Helton Creek Upper Falls. Helton Creek Falls is most definatly my favorite falls, but I don't know if I like the upper falls more than the lower falls. You could stand right next to the lowerfalls, which was neat, but the upperfalls is taller and prettier. Desoto Falls. I didn't like this one very much, because it was such horrible lighting, and little water. Desoto falls again Cane Creek Falls
Some waterfall we unexpectedly found behind a pottery shop, where we stopped for directions to another waterfall, that we sadly never got to. Though we were SOO close When we walked/hiked to the top of Brasstown Bald for sunrise, we had to go up that mountain to that observation tower. Sunset at brasstown bald parking lot. we couldn't drive up to the top, and didn't want to hike xD sunset again rly random nd crappy, but that was my first mountain I saw :D Mount Yonah, second tallest mountain in Georgia, I think. Chatahoochee River, and that was from our cabin. Very Epic tree. It was growing on a rock :D
