I have a favorite horse named Katie. She likes me and I like her. I ride once or twice every month- starting today!- and this got me wondering. Since there are horse lovers here and some have a favorite horse, why can't you talk about them- or at least mention your favorite horse here. =)
Yes, as I told you in PM my favorite horse at the barn is a beautiful chestnut quarter horse gelding named Rusty. I love him sooooo much! I've had two shows with him and he's my boy! ^_^ I ride once every week and I'm going to a camp on August 13! And my dad takes lessons with me, we are planning on getting a horse next summer.
I actually am. They're gorgeous creatures! I've always wanted one but we don't live on a farm or anything. I have been around many horses through the years though.

My pain and all the trouble caused, no matter how long, I believe that there's hope buried beneath it all.
I'm looking into a barn, and I'll hopefully get lessons. Because I am built for the sport, I'm tall, lean, and athletic.
And horses really mean a lot to me. I was at camp last week, where I was constantly with them, and I've never felt so content and at peace in my life.
My favorite horse is King:
He's a 19 year old gelding American Quarter horse. I rode him at camp, and even though he was difficult to ride, my instructer said I rode him EXTREMELY well. BTW that's a gripping collar on his head (it's backwards.. o.O) But anyways; it's for cribbing.. which is really annoying especially when you're tacking him up. I would explain what cribbing is.. but it's kinda hard to type. But yeah, King's a cribber, but he still rocked. =D
Oh; and I've drawn horses for as long as I can remember. ;D

Equestrian is the sport for me even if I'm not tall. I've riden Katie- my dream horse. She is 20 years old, (around 60 horsey years) and is gentle. Next time I go for a trail ride, I will get Katie to trot over some of those branches- she'll jump them, I guess.
He is beautiful- and some of the horses at my camp had cribbing collars, like Try Me. He's a race horse and I got to ride him. I can't spell his actuall breed right though.
