Being indecisive, my parents just gave me $500 to buy anything I want for myself for my birthday in 2 weeks. Already I have $110 so that's $610, and I was thinking of buying this. :) The price was $1,200 but it dropped to $565. I can buy that and even have enough money left for a few little things.
Do you think I should? Or do you know of a better yet cheaper camera, or do you think I should get something else? If so what?
I want that camera..the pictures it takes are...o_o XD
Yup.
That picture was taken in a spot I've been to a few months ago, only about 40 minutes away from me. We got alright pics of a sunset but that one is amazing. (Scary drive there BTW. You have to go left & right for over an hour, and it's right on the side of the ocean.)
It is a great camera (and I speak from personal experience. When you take 2,000 pictures in a week on a camera, you're bound to know a couple things about it).

After all I've told you on MSN it's up to you. :)

My brother made me change my mind about it. It's a amazing camera, but SLR's are pretty much only for expert photographers unless you have someone teaching you how to use it. Plus you need to get different lenses for it and they can cost up to and over $1000. That's more expensive then the camera. Bad idea to get one at my level.
I'll probably get this instead - my brother has it, I've used it, it's a good camera.
PENGUIN
And I'll be able to save $280 so it's a good deal. :P
Do whatever you want. But if I was in that position, I'd do it. This could be the only time you could get it for cheap. I just got lucky because my dad had it (or something that is EXACTLY like the rebel, it's basically the same, can't find any differences. XD) and now I'm gonna use it. So far, it's amazinggg. I should show some of the pics he took with it, because wow. But, that is a lot of money to spend, and it'll basically clean you out completely, so, it's up to you.
I'd go for the Rebel. My dad has one, and it's a really good camera. Although the other one looks good, but I just don't like the brand. I have an A303 fujifilm and I don't really like it. Then again it's only 3.2 mp and has like, 2 optical zoom...XD
So I'd go for the Rebel, but if you want to have more money afterwards then the other one is just fine.
Well, unless you know a TON about ss/aperture/exposure readings/ect, go for the Fuji. It looks like a great camera, it's got a ton of zoom. A bit more than mine. High zoom PWNS. Srsly, I can get amazing pictures from far away. The Rebel is a spectucular camera, one of the best out there. But for now, start a bit slower and work your way up. That's what I'm doing. ;P I took a photography class, read tons of books, and I'm going to take ANOTHER class this school year. I'm gonna wait untill after that before I get a D-Slr. Learn more about them, then make your choice. ;P
Plus, if you got the Rebel I'd just take it from you anyway. >:) XD
