Camera Reccomendations

I'm saving up for a camera but don't know which one to get. I'm leaning towards getting a Kodak but I can't decide. Somewhere between $100-250. Please rate the camera on a scale of 1-10, and tell the pros and cons. Oh and provide a picture (of the camera) if possible. FNX

Kodak Easyshare c875, definitely. o_o

It's 8 MP and if I'm not mistaken it's $110. Not sure though.
But yeah, it' takes the most awesome pictures.

It has 20 settings, such as snow, beach, landscape, sport [for things in motion], and soooo many more.

It's so worth the money. Awesome quality too.

Here's a picture I took with it. :O

And here's what the camera looks like:

Hope I helped. ;D

Kodak Z710. $200-230?
Amazing camera, the zoom is to DIE for. It keeps going and going and going. With 7mp you can blow your pictures up HUGE. (my Dad wants an 11bysomething..and they can go MUCH bigger. :] XD)
It's got tons of settings, along with video. (with sound) It was a viewfinder, (some people have trouble switching over) but get this, it's a SCREEN inside. It's called an Elf..I think. XD
You can set tons of things, it's one of the best Kodak's out there, definatly worth the money.

In low-light situations (such as this one) the pictures still come out great without the flash. There's another thing, when you dont want the flash, just push it down. NO HASSLE. :] XD It's got a huge LCD, tons of settings. IT PWNS ALL. :D XD

Fnx both of you biggrin
I told my dad about the one Ngal mentioned and he said it looked like a very good camera. Even better than the one we have now! I think I might go with the Z710.

YAYAYAYAYAY. :D It's a great family camera, I let my parents use it all the time. It's durable, but ALWAYS keep the lenses cap on, and use the wrist/neck strap. :P
I've seen tons of people with it. o_o My youth pastor has it (he's got extra lenses..there's another bonus, you can get amazing added lenses for it, which you can't with other cameras. :O), and I've proubly seem 20 other people with it. o.o XD (not that I all know. XD) Very popular camera. :) :P
I rate it a 9.5 btw, and if you google "Kodak Z710" you'll get tons of pictures. XD

There's more to think about then the camera brand. There's camera tyes; point-and-shoots (For just taking random pics of whatever; nothing too fancy. It's what most people here have.) then there's advanced point-and-shoots (CAN be used as just a standard one, but it can take very fancy ones too) then there's SLR's - Professional cameras, I don't recommend it being your first camera.

I will also recommend the Z710, my Dad has it. Amazing camera, I use it sometimes.
He's got some great lenses for it, it takes beautiful pictures, as you can see from Ngal's descripition. I will also add that it is INCREDIBLY easy to use!
