A few hours ago I went to feed my 2 Guinea Pigs after forgetting to earlier. Last night I gave them alot of timothy hay to eat, so that was probably all they were eating..
I noticed Ding was acting weird. Right as I opened the door I knew something was weird because they weren't squealing alot; they normally squeak when they're hungry. I gave them the food and Ding didn't even come out to eat it, she just layed there. I picked her up to check on her and she was making some weird rumbling noises, and her eyes were slightly shut. I put her back and she didn't move much, she only went back into the igloo thing and slept.
I checked on them about twice more, she was still alive. Then I checked on her again about 30 minutes ago and she was dead. Then something kind of weird happened - we put her in the box and decided to bury her tomorrow (it's 1 AM) and noticed she was bleeding. ._.
And even weirder, a few days ago when I was trying to sleep I all of a sudden got very sad and kept thinking about the piggies dying. Felt very real, I had to go to check on them to convince myself they were still alive. But it's very weird that that happened, then today she died o__O
Despite the blood, she definitely died of old age. We got her in April 2003, so she lived 4 1/2 years which is about the limit. Oh, and the last weird thing? The last remaining piggy, Cookie, wasn't supposed to live so long. She got pneumonia very bad, vets said she wouldn't live through the night, but she did, and now she outlived the other 2 piggies.
Here's a pic of her. (The one that's dead -_-)
That was intended to be a shot of Ding but turned up being Sniffy my other pig. But there's most of Ding.. They're both dead now.
That's the only pic I could find of her tonight, not in the mood to search more.. I might tomorrow, very tired now. I'm not exactly impressed with myself, and going through my photobucket the only thing that could cheer me up was this picture I made last year.
That was a good 3 seconds. Then thoughts turned back to the important matter at hand.
@ IWN: Yeah this is the 2nd one I've lost in a year too, and my last one is probably not long off from it too.

:( I'm sorry... And always remember that this isn't your fault. It just..happens. I kind of blamed myself for Panda's death because I did forget to feed him sometimes.. and he was very young. But these things just happen.

RIP Ding. ]:
Thanks, I know. The piggies had a big cage that was in my room, so we moved them into the garage where there's room (they're safe there, it's warm in California) so i forgot about them alot - they normally squeak when they're hungry and I couldn't hear it.
