My brother downloaded the 30 day trial of Paint Shop Pro X2 and it is so much better than Gimp! You can do so much more and it is so easy to find what you need!biggrin Do not get one me, for this is my own opinion. If you love Gimp much more, don't start a fight, please. aww

But you can download brushes for GIMP. And there's no "30-day trial", you have it forever because it's free.
And the things I make on GIMP come out better than any other program I use.. look at my current sig for example. Made it all on Gimp. :D

I've download brushes and all, and I'm good, but Paint Shop Pro X2 comes out with generally better pictures.

You have yours, I have mine.

And I don't think anything really crashes on Vista.. I have it on both my laptop and my desktop and nothing has ever crashed on it even with doing 5+ things at a time. :O

Yeah, I know of PSP and from what I hear it's a good program. Let me know how it is when you're experienced with it - is that a new version?

I think people just prefer GIMP overall because it's free, and with effort can do most of what Photoshop can.

Thanks! i like it because it looks way cooler than Gimp, and how easy it is to find stuff!

And, our laptop is kind of messed up due to Toshiba.

I know you can run 5 or more things on Vista, but on Paint shop Pro, today anyway, it wants to mess up, that's all.

It doesn't matter how cool the program looks, it's how the image looks when it's done.

It's easy to "to find GIMP stuff" too. You just gotta get used to it. Not download it one day and fiddle around then bash it because you don't know how to Blur.

I know all this. =P I've had Gimp for quite sometime now and still love it, but I just like Paint Shop Pro more. =)
