I took fireworks pics for once, the first time I've done it so go easy on me. We did some small ones tonight because we were bored - I'm glad we did, because most of the pics suck so I don't have very high expectations for tomorrow. I'll be reading about shooting fireworks tonight.
That one's too bright, but I like the colors in the street. And fountains look like that anyway.
My mom threw a flashy thing >:(
That one isn't bad either.
.....awesome........
My dad got bored or something and lit the whole box on fire.
I didn't have much to work with because they were all short, but I still wish I did better. Oh well. If you have suggestions, post them >:( (before you suggest it... OF COURSE IM USING A TRIPOD!!!!!) I've read a bit and the major things about shooting fireworks are just tripod, shutter speed and F stop (shutter speed 1-4 seconds and F stop 8-11) but I don't think that's really the issue. ISO was at 100, the highest I had the shutter was 4 seconds, and the F stop was at 5. I should have had it at 8, but I don't think it'd make a huge difference.
Other than fireworks, we had weird sunsets today... The sun was red again, then it cleared up a bit and it looked cool. Then at around 9 PM the sunset was blue-ish; it was supposed to still be light outside, but with all the smoke from the fire (which was supposed to be 100% contained today...) was blocking everything.
I didn't get the camera just in time but you get the idea. (yes, street lights) I got pics of the purdier sunset, I'll post them later. Too tired right now.

As for criticism, they're a bit over exposed, so I would've just put the aperture up to 8, as you said, to darken them up. I'd try to keep the shutter speed the same or near that, though, so you don't lose the movement of the sparks.
