I took some pics of my mom's mini-fountain thingy in the kitchen because I was bored, I didn't get anything special but some were kinda nice.
oopz, bad framing She should get a bigger fountain.
Then I took star photos, some actually turned out very nice this time. I turned up exposure compensation so that I wouldn't have to do really long exposures (and get that star-movement effect that I sometimes don't want).
I'm actually quite worried about that streak of unknowingness on the right. If you know what it is please let me know - I hope it's just a glitch and not a sensor defect. It showed up in 2 pics.
Photobucket decided to screw it up a bit (I'll replace these with .png's tomorrow) but you can actually see "the dude's belt" in the sky in some of these pics (including that one). I got the exposure perfect.
The brightest star looks like a unicorn, doesn't it? :)
semi-eerie.
anti-eerie :(
EERIE :D Very X-files, yes?
That red coming up from the bottom is from streetlights :(
I just finished taking some semi-long exposures of my mom's mini fountain, and unlike the other ones these turned out awesome (from what I see on my LCD). It's the colors and composition that're so great about them; I'll upload these later.
Also, one more thing... I dunno if it's a glitch or not, but I was taking pictures in my backyard and something weird showed up o_O I'm obviously a big believer in ghosts, and unlike other junk on the internet this actually looks very convincing to me, and I'm usually very skeptical (ask Labby).
The clouds were really cool looking and were casting neat lighting everywhere, so I thought it'd make for some cool eerie pics of the yard - ironically that's when these showed up.
In this one there's a shadow on the left, it's a little hard to see but it's there - look at the grass and you'll see it.
I didn't mean to have the last one zoomed in so much. This one's at 35mm I think, and the shadow figure is clearly seen.
The next 3 pics were aimed at the sky, the first 2 have nothing in them but then a black mass pops up. What's interesting about this one is that the camera is on a tripod and aimed upwards, so this thing has to be either 9 feet tall or a few feet off the ground.
(mass is on middle-bottom) Looks like a cloaked figure, I'd think that's someone playing a trick on me but I'd see them, it was right frickin in front of me.
It's me :D I took these to scare my mom. (if you must know, it worked.) I did them just by wearing 2 dark shirts (same color), putting one over my head then pressing the remote to get the shutter going. I stood in place for about a minute then pressed it again to take the picture, and transparent-me showed up. I'm against people faking ghost photos and passing them off as real, but this was just to prank my mom. Creative huh? This doesn't discredit actual ghost photos, but alot of them are probably hoaxes and were done just like this.

Duuuude in my stroboscopic pictures I took today (haven't posted yet), you can see through me too. The brick wall behind me was lit up enough by a light from a neighbor's that the camera could see it without the flash. When I stepped out into the picture for the flash, it took the picture of me but the brick wall is still visible through me. Pretty trippy.

thankyoo
Yeah, it was fun to do but I was kinda surprised it was so easy. Makes you wonder how many popular ghost photos out there are fake. :O
Here's sum more fountain pics.
I think I accidentally left ISO at 400 in that one.
Minor camera shake, I wasn't using the remote. It was on a tripod though.
I like how you can partially see the water in front of the little light inside the fountain.
That too.

I figured out what the "glitch" in the star photo was, it was just a plane. >:( There's little red and blue lights on the thing you can see in full-view and I think it was a 1 minute exposure. I hate planes.
