There's another fire here, so there's hopefully gonna be alot of cool lighting. Right now it looks like theres a sunset outside (in lighting, not the sky) and its only 4. It looked like that at 1 too.

omg bokeh <3

Everyone says get a nifty-fifty 50mm 1.8, but 3.5 has a pretty shallow DOF too, amirite? Its bokeh ability is definitely underrated.

yup :D
I find it to be cooler than just blurred backgrounds.

3.5 is good DOF but a larger aperature also means faster shutter speeds.
Occasionally I wasn't able to even take pics around sunset because of smaller F's.
