If this is a persuasive essay, you shouldn't use "I" or "me" or "you" or anything that refers to a person, like "we" unless you use they, or he/she/it, like refering to a fictional man (for ex.) that beats chinchillas to death for fun.
They way I learned persuasive essays was that you needed this:
Intro (w/ a thesis statement, aka: Overall point of the Essay, (like animal cruelty is bad) Filler word like "because", Point for paragraph A, Point for paragraph B, and Point for paragraph C. ) Essay is true because of A, B, and C.
Paragraph A
Paragraph B
Paragraph C
(Each paragraph covers a different sub-topic, like animal testing for A, beating for B, and abandonment for C)
Also, you seemed to ask questions too much. You can introduce things in other ways, like stating a fact, or using an anicdote, or a mini story (fictional).
Sorry for all the stuff, (D:) but I learned about how to do this stuff in school, so I consider myself a "mini-expert."
Thanks everyone! But I really don't have the time to change it up. It's already printed out and it's due tomorrow. Thanks though, I'll keep what everyone said in mind next time! =D
