For christmas, my mom bought me a purple Polaroid 8 megapixel with a 3" screen. My mom got one for her, and it seems nice, but she got it for 89.99. That seems so cheap for an 8 megapixel. She got the extended warranty because my grandpa said it might break, and my dad was jealous because he's a photographer and he likes how big the screen is and how many megapixels it has. It seems so cheap to be true, but it seems nice. Do you think its just a good bargain?
And people need to stop gaging a camera by megapixels. Just because it has a high MP count does not mean it's a fantastic camera.
The Rebel I have has 8 megapixels. That doesn't mean it's the same as a Kodak c875. People need to look at other parts of the camera.
OHH MY GODD THE FIRST PERSON WHO UNDERSTANDS CAMERAS.
THANK YOU. megapixels mean how big you can blow it up. what you want on a camera is a small f-stop (2.4), a pretty fast shutter (1/1000) and yeah.
I don't think anyone on here understands cameras. ;-;
Haha, thanks.
Don't forget the ISO setting. ;o Cameras now have up to what, 3200? The Rebel XT goes from 200-1600. I don't think you really need more than 1600 anyways.

Right on, I've been thinking that too.
If you want a camera with massive megapixels you should get one of those bulky ones and not a slim one. :p We'd need to know more about the camera before we can say if it's good or not, but its your opinion that matters; we don't own the camera, you do.

THATS IT. Brain-phart moment lol.
Not really, 1600 would be more than enough for me haha. XD I think it goes too 4,000 something.
