I remember your eyes shining and your tail thumping against the ground ever so happy.
I remember your tongue lolling and your paws running, chasing ever so happy.
I remember your nose twitching and your fur soft as brownies ever so happy.
I remember your excitement as you ran into the street and that blue car came chugging forward not stopping and it hit you.
I remember how it felt cuddling, snuggling next to the fireplace with the dog I loved before he left ever so happy. ____________________________
This poem is about a dog I never had. A girl wrote this because her dog died, and it was for him. I wrote it, but I am not that girl, ya know? I just wrote it for fun. But tis still sad. ;-;
