Because I've been quiet for too long.

The NNKC has been one of my favorite forums. In fact, my favorite. I go here almost everyday to have fun with my friends, laugh, show art, etc. But, I've been lurking on the off topic board and I've noticed something that slowly destroyed the Power On board on NSider; joke threads, "WUTZ UR FAV FING" boards and stuff. I heart.gif this forum, but if this board has to go for the safety of it, it would be fine with me.

Why do I say this? Simple. I came here to relax, to forget about my past on NSider, to be a new me. But, as you can see, this forum is slowly turning into a mini-NSider and I don't like that, IMO. NSider was great and all, but it had it faults, and we don't have to actually have those faults. The administration in here is great, and I congratulate the STAFF for the great job they're doing, but I think that if someone is going to make a joke thread, and he/she asks you for permission, would you allow another useless thread to spam the forums? Would you allow The New Nintendo Kennel Club to become The New NSider? No, right? Why was "The Funnies" board made for?

I mean, I've seen threads these last couple of days that left me in shock. "--- is hawt" just to "have fun." I mean, the thread will die in a couple of days, and it will be useless. C'mon, I mean, thank God I know how to control myself, because I would write something more that I want to write, but I don't want to hurt any feelings.

NintendogsGal, you've done a wonderful job with the NNKC. Amazing, you deserve much more than flamewars, spam, etc. Now, children, I want you to respect my opinion and I'll respect yours. Please, I do NOT want to start a flame war, I've wanted to take this out of my system for a week.

I hope you consider my rant and do something about it.

Oh, and if you agree, don't just write "Agreed 100%" or "QFT", actually DO something to change the NKC.

The problem isn't the threads Psy is making. It's the favoritism.

On Puparazzi, Art, and Sig. Off topic is fine. In fact, I think it's the only sane board here. And you said it yourself, the thread will die in a couple of days. With that, it's gone, that ohso hideous thread is gone, so ignore it.

And no, I don't think the forum is ohso wonderful. It has a lot of faults, but because of favoritism, they will never be worked out.

Psy's dog almost died, and still may die. It hardly got any posts. Where were those posts?

On Bo's, Jake's, Nick's, and Noel's threads. No offense to IWN, NGal, or Nickie, because it's not their fault (orly?), but those who IGNORED Psy's thread TO post "ZOMGCUTE" to the thousands of pictures, should be ashamed of themselves.

I love speaking my mind, but only if the people aren't stubborn and immature enough to ignore it and flame it. NSider ticked me off a lot and NNKC is just plain POing me.

Ranting is fine as long as it's respectful - I think.

My opinion? I think that the thing about the joke threads you mentioned is a little exaggerated, no offense. This forum is a tinyyy tiny community; there's about 20 people who come here daily, maybe 10 that post on this board, and we all know each other. I think joke threads are fine.

If this was a big forum like NSider where hundreds of people come here daily, yeah it'd be a big deal because not many know each other and it'll make them mad. This isn't a case like that.
And, what about the "whats ur favorite .." threads? Those are beyond pointless. NGal wanted this to be a board about discussion and having fun, not about pointless threads like that. Who cares what your favorite food is, Walter? William, we all know you like steak.

And what about the "What are you listening to" thread? People reply to that thread like once every five minutes with a 1-sentence message, I don't see why if you have a problem with joke threads that you don't have a problem with that one, or some of the other threads here.

And, of course, we should all know that the Off Topic board is ALWAYS the board with the most spam, on every forum there is. It's the place for joking, discussing things that wouldn't fit anywhere else; we don't all have to be boring and ask each other what our favorite drinks are.

There's plenty other things I think are wrong on this forum, mostly what Sonic mentioned, but I don't see much wrong with this board. People laugh, right?
