Gameplay: This game, Ive got to say, is very similar to Animal Crossing. You create a town, quite simply, but in ways similar to Animal Crossing. At the beginning of the game, you get to make a character. The characters are adorable, and I love dressing mine up and doing her hair to satisfy my tastes. You are in a cab after, and the cab driver asks where you would like to go. I named my town Aquaville. However, when you reach your town, it will be a bit lacking. Its been a while since hundreds of townspeople settled there. Then you are given tasks from the mayor and the few shop owners such as planting flowers or catching fish. You simply have to remember these tasks, for there is no notebook or anything. Anyways, the goal is to build a thriving town with lots of tourists and settlers.
There are four different times throughout the day, and each has its own music to go with it. Theres morning, afternoon, evening, and night. You will be notified when the time has changed. Certain stores do not open until certain times, so its good to know whats on the watch. Later on in the game, your town will attract more tourists who you must make happy. Try and make friends with the shop owners too! Almost anybody can play this game and have a good time. Its very charming, adventurous, and fun! I wish I could write more to make this review longer but theres honestly not much more to say.
Pros: Awesome graphics, not repetitive at all, exciting to achieve a goal. Cons: Sometimes its unknown what you need to do next, maybe just a bit too alike to Animal Crossing. But hey, Animal Crossing is an awesome game, so I don't know if that is exactly a con.
Report Card: Gameplay: Wow, awesome gameplay here! There's always something new to do to keep you interested. This game is hard to put down, and is far from repetitive! 10/10 Music/Sounds: I absolutely love the music here! Its adorable. Plus, its not the same music over and over because it changes throughout the day. 10/10 Graphics: Graphics here are pretty well done. Nothing like Nintendogs of course, but they're good. Not great, just good. 7/10
Overall Score: Excellent! 8.5/10! Hey Animal Crossing fans, this is the game for you!
