Warriors Series [Shown above: Book 1, Into the Wild]
Name: Lets just call it the Warriors Series. Author: Erin Hunter [who is actually three people under one name, but I won't get into that.] Type: Large series (and I'm talking large). Age Range: about 11-15 Id guess. Plot:Okay, I will be reviewing all the books. The books are about four clans of cats living in a forest with a whole new life story then what were used to. There are different positions such as apprentice, warrior, and leader. They even believe in their own heavens, Starclan, which is where cats go when they pass away. Medicine cats build the strongest relationship with Starclan (a medicine cat is an optional position in a clan. It is like a doctor). These books PWN. I know ~PL~, Hamtaro, and Ngal agree to that. Follow the cats' journeys and adventures as you explore the clans and warriors. Trudge through their lands as one of them in the same fur and paws. Youll feel the magic! First Book Thoughts:I decided to give a description of the first book considering most of you havent started this series. Well, Rusty is your ordinary housecat whose life gets turned around when he ventures off into the forest. He meets Graypaw, an apprentice in a clan called Thunderclan. Rusty gets pulled in to the clan life and the clan leader, Bluestar, lets him join the clan. She gives him the name Firepaw, and he is now a new apprentice. Life is tough in a clan when your former life was a kittypet (housecat). But what Firepaw doesnt know if that he is making warrior history with every paw step her takes. And as the future of Thunderclan unfolds, Firepaw will have to do everything he can in order to show his clanmates hes no kittypet. Final Thoughts on All Books:Some of you people may not be cat people. Well, trust me, neither am I. However, I loved these books. Theyre my favorite series. This goes to show that even if you dislike the creatures, they can still be good books. I love these books! Theyre so magical, and I can never put one down. I read all day until Im finished. Not kidding here. Dont miss out. If you think youd enjoy the Warriors Series, go to your library and check out the first book. If it doesnt sound like your style, just dont get them, duh. =)

I have to agree, ~PL~ and an old friend of mine suggest them to me and for a while I just browsed past them at the library. Eventully I got one, and I LOVED it. I'm not a cat person, at ALL. o.o XD But idk, I just fell in love with the series. :P I'm not even a fantasy person, but these are different somehow. I have 2-6, the Manga, and Firestar's Quest. I Lovee THEM!
Sounds great! Im a huge cat person and have been with cats since i was born so i think i'll love these since non cat people like them. Can you tell me abou the author being under 3 names through PMs, please? (or through the thread) Thanks
Well, if you go to warriorcats.com you'll be able to read about the authors. ;D I'll describe it for you though. =)
Erin Hunter is a pen name. There are three authors. Two take turns writing the books, and the other ones supplies them with ideas. THey go under Erin Hunter to avoid confusion for readers. It'd be confusing to find two books from the same series in different sections of the library. ;D

Hey, I'm not in the age range, I'm 16. ;____; XDD All I have to say, is it's the best series out there, IMO. I love it, SO much. I've been following the series for a few years now. I've read all the books EXCEPT Firestar's Quest, and the Field Guide thingy. I haven't read the Mangas either. I've never read a Manga before, and don't know if I want to or not. I'm really into the books right now, I don't want to be confused by reading a bunch of different stuff. Anyway, if you haven't read a Warriors book, TRY IT. I promise you, you'll fall in love. I finished the new one, Dark River, in 2 days. I could've finished it in one, but i tried to pace myself because I didn't want to be waiting for the next book sooner than neccessary. XDD BUT I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK OMG IM DYING OF ANTICIPATION GIMME GIMME!! XDD I'm obcessed..I know. XD I almost cried because I thought they were sold out at Barnes and Nobel, but the guy went and looked in the back, and found one. I love that man. :) And I don't even know his name. :) Anyway, the series is supposed to last 'til 2010, at least that's what I've heard. 2010's my graduating year. :] So, I'm going to be doing alot of reading! :D I'll be a Warriors fan FOUR-EVA! :D
