Yes, and you'll also need a DVD-RAM Drive installed into your computer, so it can read and run/play DVDs.

I don't know of any specific ripper, in fact, I'd like to have a download link as well. I have a few movies/episodes I'd like on my iPod.

@ The other problem:

Correction, it does affect the iPod. Because...well.

You add music through files on the computer.
You delete those files.
It can no longer be added.

It's like cutting off a phone line.

So, yes. It affects it. It also says it can't find the files if you move the file from the location when you originally added. For example, you dragged and dropped from the Desktop. Synced the iPod and left.

Later, you come back, move the file to a specific folder in My Documents and open iTunes and sync. It will say it cannot be found. Just drag and drop from the new location and you're good to go.

And, remember, ALWAYS "Eject" the iPod from iTunes before ejecting it from the USB port. That can damage the iPod pretty bad.

Hope I helped.

Ahh my bad.
But I've deleted songs off iTunes before and they still stayed on my iPod.
I didn't think it affected it since what's on the iPod stays.
Maybe I'm wrong. D:

Deleting them off of ITUNES won't affect it. Because it'll just ask you if you wanna transfer 'em back to iTunes library.

But I was talking about deleting them from the hard drive completely.

OHHHHHHHHH okay, I understand now. XD
I misunderstood. >.<

Nope. D:
I just know that you need one to get DVDs on it.

Apparently it takes a while though, my brother told me it takes a good few hours to do it.

You need an iPod Video or the new Nano to play videos in the first place. :D

I use iTunes, and I buy the video, update the iPod, then it's on the iPod.

I have a Mac computer, and I don't know if it has a DVD-RAM (as Sonic said). But it works out well all the same.

And taking the songs off of iTunes will only be a problem when you update your iPod again.

I don't know how much I can help you, I stick out on this forum because I'm the only one with a Mac computer. But I will try my bestest. :)

You don't need the DVD-RAM Drive unless you're importing your own stuff.

Guys, thanks for the help, really. :D

I found a video downloader that rips off from YouTube.

Look for "vDownloader 0.61" on Yahoo! and you'll find it. :D
