Have you guys seen the new Macbook?

Of course I have.

I spent the entire day yesterday geeking out about it. But I think it's a crap product in reality. You've sacrificing a lot for ultraportability.

-Outrageous pricing D:
-No Ethernet
-One USB 2 port
-RAM is soldered onto the motherboard
-No user-replaceable HDD, battery
-Price gouging for the solid-state drive
-Glossy screen

Then again, maybe it is.

I think the iPhone is good, albeit pricey, but then again, everything from Apple is pricey.

In reality I think the MacBook Air just makes the normal MacBook look more enticing.

I do agree they're expensive but they're not cheap.

And the iPod is unique.

Agreed D:
I'm fine with my current laptop (toshiba satellite) which is only 6 pounds. I would lose anything as small as the Macbook probably.

Probably extremely fragile too.

I've been bugging my mom about getting me a MacBook once we get the cash.
She's up for it :P
I wouldn't get the air, though. Toooo thin. And knowing me I'd snap it.

Uhh not really.
The iPod has a click wheel, and cover flow, which is really awesome. And you can get awesome games for it, like Sonic the Hedgehog.
It's sick. :D
