If any of you like cooking, there's alot of dog-treat/food recipes you can find on the net. My mom makes homemade treats - you don't have to do it exactly the way the people-on-the-internet do it either. My mom sometimes puts a bit of bacon grease in it for flavor, but usually just plain treats.

She doesn't do it for dog food but I'm sure there's a way, but it'd be hard to make so much of it. But at least you KNOW it's healthy and your dog isn't eating former matresses and boots and plastic bags and Fig Newtons.

My mom cooks meat just for the dogs (they don't eat their food without it, we spoiled them) but it's also very good for them, so yeah. XD

My dad won't let me give my dog any human food-- :| She could be HAPPY and would OBEY and learn TRICKS if she had meat, but no. Anyhoo, that's a good idea! :D I just hope my mom's willing to make the dog food.xD

I don't think changing the diet reflects THAT much on their personality. o_O I mean, if your giving them absolute crap they're going to get fat and lazy. But I doubt it will affect smartness. :O

If I was fed dog food for dinner everyday I wouldn't obey anything my parents said. If they stopped that and gave me stuff I actually like I'd listen.

Doesn't have to be meat, any food that is good for them is a good snack. Maybe Summer is just picky? idk. XD I know Bo would do it for any food. XD
