RE: Dyed Pets (random i no)

Did you know that some groomers are pros at that stuff? There was an ad in the paper a while ago about it. lol

And FYI it doesn't hurt the dog. Sure Odie doesn't like grooming, but he never gets hurt. Promise.

I mean sure it's weird, but the dogs are always fine. :] Just a little information in case any of you were worried about it or something. ;)

If I agreed anymore, I'd have to ignore this post.

Well said.

Agreed.

It doesn't hurt them at all, it's not cruel. They don't use the same thing they use on people. It's completely safe. You can actually do it at home. I looked into it a couple years ago. You use kool-aid. Just bathe them in it. And i'm not sure how it "started" but I do know that hospital voulenteers dye their dogs, and kids who are normally afraid of dogs, come up to them, and learn to love dogs. And they have something to look forward to every day. I don't see anything wrong with it. :P We were going to dye Lucy red for halloween last year, but never did because she had the puppies. We would have done Dixie, but she's too dark in color. And I don't see anything wrong with putting clothes on your dogs either. I know alot of people here don't own small dogs, but you can't take a 3 pound dog out in the snow without a sweater. At least I wouldn't reccommend it. That's more cruel in my opinion. Also other dogs like Greyhounds that have nearly no body fat, and short fur, need sweaters in the cold. But people have different opinions on all that, I guess.

Haha, that's soooo cute! xD I think it'd be cool to dye my pet, as long as it could come out eventually. :P
