This is Ngal's and mine's story for WMP's Writer's Challenge contest! We went with the Warriors series, and decided on "What If Cinderpelt Never Got Hit by a Monster?" for our What If. If she never got hit by a monster (car), then her leg would've never gotten injured, and she would have become a warrior. Ngal and I loosely switched off between paragraphs. When I say loosely I mean that sometimes one of us may have done a little more. Anyways, please enjoy. I will post the story in the next post!
Thank you!

Writing ContestWhat if Cinderpelt Never Got Hit by a Monster?
Cinderpaw's body quivered with uncontrollable excitement. She fluffed her chest fur like a pigeon as she patiently waited for Bluestar to speak her name. Her eyes suddenly slid over to the handsome tabby she secretly adored. His name was Fireheart. She gazed into his emerald eyes that were staring intently at the honorable leader. She jumped when she heard the perfect pronunciation of her name coming from Bluestar, calling her up to become a warrior.
Bluestar's gaze came down upon her as she said, "Cinderpaw, you are an honorable apprentice of Thunderclan. You have trained hard in the ways of the warrior, and Starclan has truly blessed your path. Cinderpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and fight for your clan, even if it costs you your life?" "I do." She replied. "Then Cinderpaw, you will now be known as Cinderpelt. You have trained hard, and your clan is very proud of you." finished Bluestar. Cinderpelt went and touched noises with her leader, and then with her mentor. "Cinderpelt! Cinderpelt! Cinderpelt!" her brother Brackenfur called loudly. The clan echoed, and her heart leaped with happiness.
Cinderpelt hopped off of the highrock, eyes glowing with explainable pride. She dashed over to Brackenfur. "Congratulations!" Brackenfur exclaimed. Cinderpelt squirmed with pleasure and opened her mouth to thank him, but Brackenfur silenced her with his gentle purr. "No talking, remember? It is part of the warrior code to keep a silent vigil after becoming a warrior." Cinderpelt longed to snap back a reply, and dug her claws into the ground when she remembered she couldnt. Huffy, she curled up in the middle of the clearing as the moon shed its gleaming silver rays of light on her pelt and the new warrior drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
The new warrior was awoken by a strange sound in the forest. Crackle! Then the noise stopped in a pause and another crackle. She raised her ear to listen and glanced around for something that could have made the noise. Was it an animal? Was another clan attacking the camp?Should she call for help?Cinderpelts eyes darted around looking for more movement in the shadows, then she spotted it by the nursery.A badger! She hissed in her head.Cinderpelt darted into the dark, the moon her only source of light as she tried to find the animal. Carefully, she maneuvered through the dense undergrowth, her tiny nose fighting to catch a scent. Swiftly and silently, she scuttled into the nursery and halted immediately when she saw a black shape fidgeting in the darkness. Its cruel stare was fixed on a tiny kit. With a sickening battle yowl, Cinderpelt lunged at the beast, shoving her claws into its fur. The badger released a blood-curdling squeal as it wrestled with the new warrior. Discouraged by its strength, Cinderpelt revealed her long fangs and sunk them easily into the creatures squirming neck. It hissed weakly, and collapsed onto the soil. Cinderpelt's heart lurched with pride as her clanmates crowded around her, wondering where the noise was coming from. They were all impressed with her victory. Cinderpelt was almost sure that she had been destined to become a warrior all her life. Or so she hoped.

Dont worry about the fonts and sizes. ;P Great job! I loved how you made it so that readers who aren't reading the warriors series can still catch on to it and understand kinda what happened and stuff. ;)
Poor cinderpelt. She's one of my favorite warriors characters. I always did wonder what would've happened if she hadn't gotten hit by a moster. I'm gonna keep an eye on this story. (: Can't wait to read more!
