One game I would suggest to stay away from is Sims 2 Pets. It's good for the computer but it is very different on the DS. Sorry if that doesn't help very much.
Mario Party DS is pretty fun. And Legend of Zelda: PH is a must have (if you enjoy games like that..lol). I still haven't beaten it haha. What else... Mario Kart DS is good assuming you don't already have it. Pokemon Diamond is good too, haven't beaten that one either..XD
So those are games that could last you a while. Hope I helped. ;P

Haha, yes. I thought it would be like the computer Sims, but making your human family/character and then making a bunch of pets to parks and stuff BUT NOOOOOO
You wake up and you're a vet and you have to take care of animals and have one of your own to "dress up" andandand.......*bewm*..........Yeah, it's not even pets, rather "Sims 2 Vetranary Repetative game"
